The Bright Path Program, GPS
provides intensive in-patient and out-patient neuro-behavioral programming designed for young adults and seniors living with mental health issues and/or suffering with addiction.
All programming is accredited by The Joint Commission. Bright Path Program has also received a 4th Year Resident Rotation with a Major Teaching Hospital. Programming is documented and outcome driven allowing the client, staff and family members to understand progress through the programming. All programming is patient-centered and includes a comprehensive health and wellness schedule.
About Bright Path Program GPS
The Bright Path Program, GPS provides for a variety of neuro-behavioral programming (In-Patient and Out-Patient) that has been developed based on extensive experience in clinical, organizational and developmental collaboration with The Cottages On Mountain Creek.
All programming relies on the following key components for effective treatment, rehabilitation and care:
- Foundation and structure based on individual wants, needs, goals
- Client opportunity to develop/practice relearned behavior
- A map for orienting one’s life in a straight path and/or to alter their course consciously (proactively)
- Individualized, customized care that includes family and/or caregivers
- Community awareness to promote seamless and integrated continuum-of-care
- A Center of Excellence mindset
- Development of client resilience to move through their challenges and enhance their quality of life
Programming also includes wellness options that include art, music, yoga, neck massage, horticulture therapy, nutrition classes and a physical wellness garden.

Individual Therapy Sessions
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
Out-Patient Addiction Program
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 7:00pm (individual sessions)
Intensive Out-Patient Program
Monday, Thursday & Friday: 10:30am – 3:00pm | 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Senior Wellness Program
Wednesday and Friday: 9:15am – 11:45pm (Includes Snacks)
Note: The Addiction Program consists of Individual Therapy Sessions (12-week initial program).
Who We Treat
Consistently recognized as one of the top treatment programs, we treat adults ages 18 and older with mental health issues. Bright Path Program GPS also provides the Brain Flex program for seniors with memory care issues, as well as seniors living with mental health issues (Schizoaffective, Bipolar, OCD, Anxiety and Major Depression, etc). Addiction Program (Out-Patient)
The Addiction Psycho-Education Program is Designed for Young Adults and/or Seniors. The 12-week intensive curriculum-based program is a cognitive multi-disciplinary, multi-modal program designed to assist in the continuation of recovery after an intensive in-patient program has been completed. The program can extend for 48 weeks.
Senior Cognitive Behavioral Program
The Bright Path Health and Wellness Program (Seniors) provides health and wellness programming, as well as cognitive programming. A portion of the program is curriculum based with a portion of the programming including chair yoga, neck massage, walk through our physical wellness garden, music, horticulture therapy and more. The program is provided at 347 Carpenter Drive, Sandy Springs, Georgia 30328 (Wednesday and Friday – 9:15am to 11:45am).
