PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP)

Bright Path is now offering a full-service nature-based Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Sandy Springs, Georgia, Hiawassee, Georgia and Kingfield, Maine. The program draws from evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). The program also incorporates calming effects of nature, mindfulness, yoga, and Somatic Therapy which uses body awareness, breathing, and movement exercises to release stored tension and emotions, as well as conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, depression and chronic pain.

The PHP program provides a more intensive, structured environment with more daily hours of therapy, while IOP offers more flexibility with fewer daily hours and a focus on balancing treatment with daily responsibilities. The PHP program is a bridge between in-patient and less intensive out-patient care, providing a more structured and intensive level of support.

Testimonials From Our Alumni

The Bright Path Program has been wonderful for our son. It has helped him structure his life with goals and objectives. The treatment plan that has been done with him and the therapist serves as guidance and reference to where he is and what needs to be done. Our son has never participated in any other program that is as detailed and thorough as this one. To be able to reach to an adult with mental illness requires connection and a meaningful experience. His therapist has done an outstanding job in instilling in our son purpose and responsibility. My husband and I go to bed at night grateful to have found the Bright Path Program.

I was in terrible crisis when I got there, but recovered and have nothing but good things to say about the place. The houses provided for us are beautiful and everyone’s friendly and supportive. I would recommend anyone in crisis to the cottages.
